Using a Receipt
When to use it: Issue it after payment, and identify whether it covers the full amount or only a deposit or installment.
Typical information: Payer and recipient, receipt number and date, amount received, payment method or reference, and the related sale or invoice.
How it differs: An invoice asks for payment; a receipt confirms that payment was made. It does not by itself establish tax treatment.
Example: A tutor gives a receipt after receiving a monthly course fee by bank transfer.
